Our Review
The Aputure Storm 1200x Reflector Kit is a focused accessory bundle designed to broaden the capabilities of your Storm 1200x light fixture. By providing both a 15-degree narrow reflector and a 30-degree medium reflector, this kit gives you the flexibility to choose between an intense, punchy beam or a softer, wider spread of light depending on your specific production needs.
Beyond the optics, the kit prioritizes convenience for professional rental houses and working crews. It includes a dedicated protective soft carrying case that is explicitly designed to stack securely on top of the standard Storm 1200x rolling case, ensuring that your modifiers stay safe during transit without complicating your loadout.
Standout Features
The kit stands out by ensuring consistent performance, specifically engineering these reflectors to deliver uniform edge-to-edge light distribution. By effectively eliminating hotspots, these modifiers help maintain a clean and professional look in your lighting setup compared to generic alternatives.
What We Like
We appreciate the thoughtful integration with the existing Storm 1200x ecosystem. The ability to stack the carrying case securely on the light's main rolling case makes a noticeable difference in how efficiently you can transport your gear to and from a shoot.
