In Short

The Candy 4500 Sq.Ft Dehumidifier offers a powerful solution for damp basements or large living areas. With app connectivity, flexible drainage options, and customizable humidity modes, it is designed to keep your home's air quality consistent without constant manual attention.

Our Review

The Candy 4500 Sq.Ft Dehumidifier is a workhorse for homeowners looking to manage moisture in expansive areas like basements or laundry rooms. It is rated to remove up to 80 pints of moisture a day under high-humidity conditions and features a 1.35-gallon tank to collect water, though you will need to empty it periodically if you aren't utilizing the continuous drain option.

The integration of smart home features is a significant benefit, allowing you to monitor or adjust humidity levels through the Candy Home app, Google Home, or Alexa. While the unit includes helpful features like 360-degree wheels and auto-defrost for colder environments, users should note that the physical footprint is substantial, so you should ensure you have adequate floor space before purchasing.

Standout Features

The unit shines with its dual drainage system and smart connectivity, which makes it easy to set and forget. With 360-degree wheels and a built-in handle, it is relatively portable despite its size, and the inclusion of a dedicated sleep mode ensures it can run quietly when needed in bedrooms or common living areas.

What We Like

We appreciate the versatility offered by the three operation modes—Continuous, Auto, and Sleep—which allow you to balance between aggressive moisture removal and quiet energy efficiency. The inclusion of an automatic shutoff feature also removes the stress of worrying about water tank overflows while you are away from home.
