Our Review
The DJI 65W Portable Charger is designed with portability and efficiency in mind, utilizing Gallium Nitride (GaN) technology to maintain a small form factor while delivering faster charging speeds. It features two output ports, a USB-C and a USB-A, allowing you to charge both your Intelligent Flight Battery and remote controller simultaneously, though keep in mind that charging times will increase when both ports are in use.
This device is a versatile tool for anyone heavily invested in the DJI ecosystem, boasting broad compatibility with the Mavic 3 series, Air 3 series, Avata, and other accessories. With an operating temperature range of 5° to 40° C, it is suitable for most indoor charging environments, making it a reliable addition to your gear bag for keeping your equipment ready for flight.
Standout Features
The standout feature here is the inclusion of both USB-C and USB-A ports, which enables simultaneous charging for your drone batteries and controllers. By leveraging GaN technology, DJI has managed to keep the charger lightweight at just 0.181 kg while still hitting a solid 65W power output.
What We Like
We appreciate the charger's wide device compatibility, which extends beyond just drone batteries to include smartphones and laptops. The ability to streamline your travel kit by using a single, relatively small charger for multiple devices is a significant benefit for pilots on the go.
