Our Review
The HzFitInc dual-band antenna is designed to get operators on the air quickly without the hassle of fine-tuning frequency ranges. It arrives pre-tuned for both 144 MHz and 430-460 MHz bands, making it a plug-and-play solution for anyone looking to upgrade their base station setup immediately.
The build focuses on durability, utilizing a single-section, 49-inch white fiberglass design that is engineered to handle outdoor weather conditions. Because it comes with a 32-foot cable, mounting bracket, and ground plane included, it removes the guesswork often associated with sourcing individual components for a base station installation.
Standout Features
The standout feature here is the all-in-one kit approach, which includes the antenna, mounting bracket, ground plane, and a 32-foot coaxial cable. Its high-power handling capacity of up to 100 watts and the lack of required tuning make it a very accessible choice for both newer and experienced operators.
What We Like
We appreciate the convenience of the pre-tuned design, as it simplifies installation significantly for those who want to avoid manual tuning. The inclusion of a ready-to-use coaxial cable and mounting hardware adds real value for a straightforward setup process.
