Our Review
The Obabala 52-inch ceiling fan is a straightforward solution for those needing air circulation in covered outdoor spaces or bedrooms. Its standout design element is the use of natural solid wood blades, which offer a more premium look compared to standard plastic or metal alternatives. The included DC motor is designed to operate quietly, making it a viable option for those who are sensitive to background noise while sleeping.
Installation is relatively flexible, accommodating both flat and sloped ceilings up to 18 degrees with the two included downrods. Users should be aware that while the remote control adds convenience, the reliance on a single remote means you should keep it in a safe place. Overall, this fan provides a balance of aesthetic appeal and functional performance for covered areas.
Standout Features
The standout feature is the build quality of the three natural solid wood blades, which lend a modern, elevated aesthetic to any room or covered patio. Additionally, the reversible DC motor design ensures quiet operation while allowing users to adjust airflow direction as the seasons change.
What We Like
We appreciate the inclusion of adjustable light temperature and brightness settings, which allow you to customize the ambiance of your space. The memory function is particularly useful, saving your preferred lighting settings so you do not have to reset them every time you flip the switch.
