In Short
The PEJOYT wooden hamster cage offers a ventilated, panoramic habitat designed for small rodents. With its solid pine construction and integrated airflow systems, it aims to be a safe, sturdy, and easy-to-clean home for your pet.
Our Review
The PEJOYT small animal habitat stands out for its emphasis on airflow and accessibility. Constructed from natural, unpainted pine, the cage features transparent acrylic panels on the front, providing a clear view of your pet while ensuring the enclosure feels open rather than restrictive. It is designed to be straightforward to set up, with a modular assembly process that allows for relatively quick construction.
However, potential buyers should carefully note the dimensions of 22.8 inches by 15.7 inches by 18.9 inches to ensure it meets the specific exercise and space requirements for their particular small animal. While the inclusion of ventilation mesh at the top and sides, along with an exhaust fan, is a thoughtful addition for odor control, the success of the habitat depends on matching its size to the activity level of the pet residing inside.
Standout Features
The standout feature here is the comprehensive ventilation system, which combines top and side iron mesh with an exhaust fan to minimize odors effectively. The use of natural, unpainted solid pine provides a clean, safe material profile for pets, while the waterproof bottom helps protect the wood from messes.
What We Like
We appreciate the balance between durability and visibility provided by the pine and acrylic construction. The inclusion of a waterproof floor liner is a significant practical benefit that simplifies cleanup and extends the overall lifespan of the wooden frame.
