In Short

The XSSIVE 20V Cordless Pole Hedge Trimmer offers an accessible way to tidy up tall hedges without a ladder, featuring a 16-inch blade and a lightweight frame that keeps things manageable.

Our Review

The XSSIVE cordless pole trimmer is designed for homeowners who need to maintain hedges that are just out of reach. With its telescoping design and pivoting head, it allows for both vertical and horizontal trimming, making it a versatile tool for keeping your garden looking sharp. The inclusion of a 20V battery and charger in the box makes this a ready-to-use solution right out of the gate.

However, users should be realistic about the ergonomics. While the unit weighs roughly 3kg, extending the pole changes the center of gravity, which can make it feel heavy during prolonged use. The included shoulder strap is a necessary addition for stability, but expect to take breaks if you have a large hedge to clear.

Standout Features

The standout feature is the laser-cut 16-inch blade, which is designed to maintain its sharpness over time and minimize frustrating jams. The pivoting head adds significant value, allowing you to switch angles quickly without needing extra tools to adjust the mechanism.

What We Like

We appreciate the focus on safety, specifically the dual-start button system that requires two-hand operation to activate the motor. This simple but effective design ensures you have a firm grip and full control before the blades begin to move.
