In Short

The Stratum Outdoors Transducer Pole offers a versatile, tool-free solution for mounting premium sonar units. While it requires a separate deck stand purchase, its telescoping design and smooth rotation make it a solid choice for anglers seeking better control over their scanning.

Our Review

The Stratum Outdoors Transducer Pole is designed to give you greater control over your sonar positioning, supporting major units like Garmin Livescope, MEGA Live, and Active Target. Its telescoping frame spans from 30 to 60 inches, allowing for seamless use in both open water and ice fishing scenarios. The inclusion of a bike stand repair mount adapter on the rotation collar is a unique touch that helps secure the unit while keeping adjustments simple.

However, potential buyers should be aware that the essential deck stand is not included in this package and must be purchased separately. This makes the overall setup process a two-part endeavor rather than an all-in-one solution. Once assembled, the flip-lock mechanism and tool-free adjustments make it highly practical for those who frequently switch between forward, down, and perspective modes.

Standout Features

The standout feature here is the ThruBolt technology on the rotation collar, which provides remarkably smooth and precise scanning. Combined with a secure pin mechanism, it allows you to switch between different sonar modes quickly without needing extra tools, ensuring you stay focused on finding fish.

What We Like

We appreciate the user-friendly design that prioritizes on-the-water adjustments. The ability to easily change the pole length with gloved hands using the flip locks is a significant advantage for colder days, and the overall construction feels sturdy enough for serious fishing trips.
