In Short

The Xega 4G LTE Solar Security Camera is a versatile, off-grid surveillance solution designed for locations without Wi-Fi. With solar power, pan-tilt capabilities, and cellular connectivity, it offers a practical way to monitor remote properties like farms or construction sites.

Our Review

The Xega 4G LTE Security Camera system is built specifically for users who need monitoring in areas where traditional internet and electrical power are unavailable. By relying on 4G cellular networks and solar energy, this two-pack kit eliminates the need for wiring or Wi-Fi routers. It is an ideal choice for off-grid properties, vacation homes, or job sites where you need a quick, independent security deployment.

While the convenience of cellular connectivity is a major benefit, prospective buyers should verify that their specific location has reliable 4G coverage before purchasing. The system requires an active cellular data plan, which is an ongoing consideration compared to standard home Wi-Fi cameras. Users should also factor in the setup process, which involves app configuration and ensuring the solar panels receive adequate sunlight to maintain the internal battery charge.

Standout Features

The core of this system is its independence from existing infrastructure, combining 4G LTE connectivity with a 5W solar panel and a 9000mAh battery. The 2K/3MP resolution delivers sharp imagery, while the 355-degree horizontal pan and tilt range ensure you can cover a wide area without blind spots. Night monitoring is supported by built-in infrared LEDs, helping maintain visibility even in dark conditions.

What We Like

We appreciate the true off-grid capability, which makes this setup highly practical for remote locations that lack reliable internet. The combination of a substantial 9000mAh battery and a high-efficiency solar panel means the cameras can operate autonomously in most weather conditions, backed by IP66-rated weatherproofing.
