In Short

The TCL NXTPAPER 14 offers a massive, unique display experience tailored for those who prioritize eye comfort. With its paper-like technology and included stylus, it serves as a versatile tool for digital artists and students, though its performance won't challenge high-end professional tablets.

Our Review

The TCL NXTPAPER 14 distinguishes itself immediately with its 14.3-inch display, which utilizes proprietary NXTPAPER 3.0 technology to reduce glare and filter blue light. This screen is the centerpiece of the device, designed specifically to mimic the feel of paper while offering the versatility of a digital tablet. The hardware is slim and sturdy, wrapped in a metal body that feels reliable despite the tablet's large footprint.

Under the hood, the device is powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 processor and Android 15, which provides a functional experience for multitasking and standard productivity apps. While it excels at note-taking and viewing digital media, users expecting top-tier gaming performance or heavy-duty creative processing may find the mid-range chipset limiting during intensive workflows.

Standout Features

The standout feature is undeniably the NXTPAPER display, which allows users to toggle between Standard, Color Paper, and Ink Paper modes. This flexibility is complemented by the included 4096-level T-PEN stylus, making the tablet an excellent choice for those who do a lot of sketching, note-taking, or long-form reading on digital screens.

What We Like

We appreciate the thoughtful inclusion of the adjustable flip case, which makes the large screen much more usable for hands-free tasks. The ability to reverse charge other devices using the tablet's massive 10,000mAh battery is also a clever, practical touch for anyone working on the go.
