In Short

The JideTech D4 4G camera is a capable surveillance solution for remote locations like farms or construction sites. By relying on cellular connectivity and solar power, it eliminates the need for WiFi or traditional electrical outlets.

Our Review

The JideTech D4 4G security camera is built specifically for users who need monitoring in areas without standard infrastructure. Because it operates on a 4G LTE connection and draws power from an 8W solar panel, it is well-suited for rural properties, cabins, or remote job sites where running cables is impractical. The inclusion of a pre-installed SIM card simplifies the initial setup, allowing you to get up and running without managing external carrier hardware.

The camera offers flexible viewing angles with 320° pan and 90° tilt functionality, paired with auto-tracking features that follow detected movement. While the 3MP resolution is standard, users should note that performance depends heavily on the strength of your local cellular signal. Without a strong connection, the real-time two-way audio and remote monitoring features may experience latency or connectivity drops.

Standout Features

This camera stands out for its self-sufficient power and connectivity suite. The combination of an 8W solar panel and a 13500mAh battery ensures the device can run continuously without needing to be plugged into an outlet, while the AOV technology helps manage power usage effectively.

What We Like

We appreciate the thoughtful inclusion of a pre-installed SIM card with trial data, which removes a common barrier for cellular security cameras. The physical PTZ capabilities, allowing for 320° of horizontal coverage, are excellent for reducing blind spots in large, open outdoor areas.
