In Short
The MiLESEEY S7 combines a large, vibrant color display with app connectivity to simplify complex measurement tasks, offering a rugged, versatile solution for professionals and DIYers who need high precision at distances up to 330 feet.
Our Review
The MiLESEEY S7 distinguishes itself with a bright 2.4-inch color IPS display, making it much easier to read measurements in varying lighting conditions than the standard monochrome screens found on many competitors. The inclusion of an auto-rotating display is a thoughtful touch for those working in awkward spaces, as it ensures your data is always oriented correctly regardless of how you hold the device.
Functionality is clearly a priority here, with the device offering 15 different measurement modes such as trapezoid and stake-out options. While its IP65 rating suggests it can handle rough jobsite conditions, users should be aware that the added complexity of app connectivity and a large color screen may result in a steeper learning curve than a simpler, bare-bones laser meter.
Standout Features
The standout feature is undoubtedly the 2.4-inch color IPS display, which pairs with an intuitive interface to make complex calculations feel more accessible. Coupled with robust IP65 waterproofing and a 330-foot range, this device is built to handle the rigors of professional field work.
What We Like
We appreciate the dual power flexibility, as it allows users to switch between rechargeable NI-MH batteries or standard AAA alkaline batteries when in a pinch. The app integration is also a welcome addition, letting you map dimensions directly onto on-site photos for better documentation.
