In Short
The Spider Farmer G4500 is a capable 320W LED grow light designed specifically for 2x4 tents. With smart app control and daisy-chain capability, it offers a solid balance of tech-forward features and uniform coverage for indoor horticulture.
Our Review
The G4500 stands out for its elongated bar design, which is engineered to distribute light more evenly across a 2x4 grow space. This layout helps minimize hotspots and ensures that plants on the edges receive consistent illumination, which is a common challenge in narrower tent footprints.
While it is built for efficiency, success with this unit still depends on your grow environment. Because it is a high-output 320W light, users should ensure their ventilation setups can manage the heat output, even with efficient LEDs. The 5-year warranty provides a nice safety net for hobbyists looking for a long-term lighting solution.
Standout Features
This model delivers a full-spectrum output covering 3200-4200K and 4800-5000K, plus 665nm red, making it suitable for both vegetative and flowering cycles. The standout addition is the Spider Farmer App, which allows for remote scheduling and dimming, removing the need for manual timers or constant checks.
What We Like
We appreciate the daisy-chain functionality that allows you to connect up to 50 lights, making this a scalable option if you decide to expand your grow room. The inclusion of granular 10-100% dimming via the app also gives growers precise control over intensity without needing extra hardware.
