Our Review
If you are using TACO Marine Grand Slam 170 Outrigger poles, this standard rigging kit is designed to get you ready for the water with minimal hassle. It bundles the primary components needed to secure your lines, which can save time compared to sourcing individual parts separately. The kit is specifically aimed at rigging up to 22-foot outriggers, making it a tailored choice for those specific setups. Because it is a standardized kit, it removes much of the guesswork from the installation process, though you should verify that it is compatible with your specific boat layout before purchasing. It offers a solid, basic foundation for outrigger management without unnecessary complexity.
Standout Features
The kit stands out for its inclusion of 100 feet of durable, 1/8-inch thick Dacron black rigging cord. It also features adjustable tension release clips and 1-1/4 inch outrigger line stops to ensure your gear is held securely while trolling.
What We Like
We appreciate that this kit gathers all the necessary hardware into one box. Including the glass ring with brass strap clips demonstrates attention to standard rigging needs, making it a reliable choice for boaters who want to get out on the water quickly.
