In Short

The TOTO WASHLET S2 offers a sophisticated bidet experience with instantaneous heating and advanced hygiene features like EWATER+ wand cleaning. It is a solid choice for those seeking to reduce toilet paper use and enhance their bathroom routine with adjustable, personalized settings.

Our Review

The TOTO WASHLET S2 is designed to elevate the bathroom experience through a combination of comfort and automated hygiene. It features an instantaneous water heating system that provides continuous warm water, coupled with a heated, SoftClose seat that offers three distinct temperature settings for colder days. The integration of an air deodorizer and a warm air dryer, also with adjustable heat, creates a more comprehensive and comfortable cleansing process than traditional methods.

However, potential buyers should be aware that this unit is specifically designed for elongated toilets, which limits its compatibility with round bowl models. Installation is advertised as a DIY project, but users should verify their existing bathroom space and electrical outlet proximity before committing to the purchase. The unit’s reliance on an arm control panel rather than a remote might also influence your decision depending on your bathroom's layout and personal preference for aesthetics.

Standout Features

The standout feature is the EWATER+ system, which automatically cleans the inside and outside of the wand, ensuring the device remains hygienic without constant manual maintenance. The PREMIST function is another strong addition, wetting the bowl before use to prevent waste from sticking and making the unit easier to keep clean over time.

What We Like

We appreciate the high level of customization available for the cleansing experience. With five pressure settings and three water temperature options, users can tailor the spray to their personal comfort. The combination of an oscillating stream, pulsating options, and a warm air dryer provides a genuinely thorough and gentle clean.
