In Short

Our Review
The ViewSonic VX3418-2KPC is designed for gamers who prioritize screen real estate and fluidity. Its 1500R curvature and 21:9 ultrawide aspect ratio draw you into the center of the action, while the WQHD resolution ensures your games look sharp and detailed. While it shines for entertainment and gaming, remember that you will need a DisplayPort connection to unlock the full 180Hz refresh rate capability.
Connectivity is sufficient for most users, featuring two HDMI 2.0 ports and one DisplayPort 1.2 input, though power users with multiple high-end peripherals might find the limited port selection restrictive. The monitor also includes thoughtful additions like eye-care technology, which helps reduce fatigue during marathon gaming sessions or long hours of document editing.
Standout Features
The standout feature is the combination of the 1500R curved display and the rapid 180Hz refresh rate. When paired with AMD FreeSync Premium, the screen maintains smooth, tear-free visuals that feel highly responsive during fast-paced gameplay.
What We Like
We appreciate the inclusion of ViewSonic's customizable ViewMode presets, which allow you to quickly optimize the screen for specific genres like FPS or RTS games. The 1ms MPRT response time is also a significant plus for minimizing motion blur in competitive titles.
